I made* a site with Portland City Council voting statistics — who votes with whom, most common vote breakdowns, who’s in the majority most often:
Agreed, that was an important change. That requirement still stands for most SWCDs in Oregon, which is an important note. But it is a move in the right direction.
Her service on the board has been really admirable. She is not running for re-election, and this is an open seat. Great question, thank you, Rithy!
Yes! There are four candidates for this seat.
Shawne, I'm so excited you are running for Tigard City Council! You will be amazing!
Thank you Jeremy, and please remember to hydrate. You've got this! 💓
Thank you, Emory! 💓
Ha! ❤️
💓 thank you!
[Blush] you are the cat's fanciest pajamas, Marina. Thank you. 🫶
I'm running for East Multnomah Soil & Water Conservation District, At Large 2 seat. This is an oft-overlooked and important body. Please spread the word using our website's Word of Mouth Kit created by incredible volunteer power! Thank you. Vote by November 3! #orpol #vote2026 stephfororegon.com
A note that I actually created these as a bumper magnet and have it on my own car, because no one (including me!) wants me driving. But I hear your adaptation,... 🤣
Chanda Evans' letter to the editor about Participatory Budgeting is spot on. Vote yes on Measure 26-267. www.oregonlive.com/opinion/2026...
Nice!
Oh gosh! That is so kind of you. What are you looking forward to this quarter?
Yay!
Looking to spice up your Saturday night/weekend? Apply to join the Portland Planning Commission! The deadline is this Mon. 9/21 (extended 1 wk). I have the honor of serving as your current chair with 8 phenomenal colleagues. Take my seat, please & thank you. :) www.portland.gov/bps/planning...
I worked summers through college at a cannery on Bristol Bay. Fishingfolk by and large understand the relationship between environmental protections and long term economic sustainability. Big corporations couldn't care less.
Journalism lives! The Mercury included a history of the police’s actions in 2020, adding necessary context to the frankly popular anti-police sentiment that arose and still reverberates. I shouldn’t feel relieved to see a paper not just parroting conservative talking points, but it’s uncommon now.
Nafisa Fai is running for WashCo Chair. Wouldn't it be delicious for Fai to be elected to succeed the person who just flipped her off? If you love community leaders stepping up to serve and/or a healthy dose of schadenfreude, this is your link. DONATE TODAY. (3/3) www.nafisaforwashingtoncounty.com
