New York Comic Con 2026 is this weekend at the Javits Center, through Sunday, October 11! Fans of sci-fi, fantasy, horror, and more are gathering for celebrity appearances, immersive experiences, panels, and exclusive merchandise.

We need to accelerate the transition to clean, reliable, affordable energy, invest in modernizing our electric grid, and build an energy future that protects both our planet and New Yorkers’ pocketbooks.

The answer is not to double down on fossil fuels, which are driving climate change, exposing consumers to volatile global energy markets, and leaving us vulnerable to conflicts overseas.

States across the country, including New York, face a critical challenge: building the energy capacity we need to power our economy while keeping utility bills under control.

The announcement also includes plans for significant investments in the buildings, including improvements to accessibility, roofing, mechanical systems, apartments, and shared community spaces.

This is a major victory for affordable housing in Hell’s Kitchen and for the thousands of New Yorkers who call Manhattan Plaza home.

Related Companies, which owns and operates Manhattan Plaza, has announced a 35-year extension of Manhattan Plaza’s Mitchell-Lama commitment with New York City, along with a new 20-year federal Section 8 contract extending through September 2046!
