@wapotechguild.bsky.socialReposted by @wbng.orgWe returned to the bargaining table today after a months-long break, eager to finally hear management's first proposal. We've presented 25 proposals without a single response. Today we got theirs, and it was worse than we expected. 🧵(1)
@wbng.orgAn attack on one outlet's ability to cover the White House is an attack on a free press for all of us. We stand with our member and every journalist targeted for doing their job.
@wbng.orgThis morning, Secret Service barred our own @pen-guild.bsky.social member Cheyenne Haslett from the White House simply for doing her job. Press access cannot be weaponized against journalists for their reporting.
@wbng.orgThis is HUGE! This case marks one of the nation’s first major labor-arbitration rulings addressing the impact of AI on journalists’ work, setting an important precedent for the entire U.S. news industry. ✊
