I'm sure Farage has a great plan for improving the overcrowded prisons problem by overcrowding them with sweethearts who have committed their lives to helping their neighbours. www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

Proof, if needed, that the furore over the use of hotels to house asylum seekers or the location of camps is pure distraction: these people donā€™t actually think asylum seekers should be allowed to live anywhere

theguardian.comā€˜English nationalistā€™ content creators film themselves in asylum seekersā€™ houseVideo posted online shows men entering home through unlocked door and claiming to be looking for paperwork

Whether it's 20 people or 200, people seeking asylum deserve safe accommodation & shouldn't be warehoused in hotels, camps or remote sites

What we actually need:

ā° Faster & fairer decisions on asylum
šŸ‘Øā€āš•ļøAllow asylum seekers to work
šŸ˜ļø Proper investment in housing for all

The 1951 UN Refugee Convention is one of the legacies of the defeat of Nazism, inspired by the knowledge of the countless Jewish and other people who had been unable to escape, so I guess itā€™s unsurprising that Reform want to reverse it
