Watching this episode's Bake Off and I think the "bake a *wearable* bake" challenge is absolutely diabolical, god speed y'all

Better artists than you with better work ethic than you have died penniless and screaming after a lifetime of good work. Don't Die For Comics.

🍪 👻 🦇 🎃 ✨

Comic tip for artists who struggle with layouts or making each page not so same-y: be less literal about where your characters are sometimes. Become more artsy with emotions they feel or information they share, you don't need them standing in the same room/position like a scene from a movie

XD It's Summergirls by LFO, not my favorite song either from the 90s but I have clear memories of talking to my older brother about the "inappropriate fish" song and then him laughing at me

🎶 I like girls that wear INAPPROPRIATE FISH

Art only a human could make.

ALSO I know there's some big fandom events happening this weekend so if you're going to be NYC I stress that you should mask up I've been fighting a crazy strong cold ever since the Frieren concert and I've been coughing up a storm since Sunday night 😷 Be careful out there and protect yourself!

And for funsies, here's the original sketch from 2023 qwq ! I don't tend to throw out my WIPs-- who knows what I'll do with them after 3 years, haha

"We don't want to turn into a banana republic, so we won't try to rein in corporations" is the kind of thing you say if you don't know what makes a banana republic a banana republic, and instead want to be a banana republic where the bananas are data centers.

X) A little Frieren doodley fanart and some quick snaps from the Frieren concert at Carnegie Hall this past Sunday! It's always a treat to hear your favorite OST performed by the experts, and I gotta shout out the musician on the tin flute for killing it during Zoltraak!

More than ever, it’s crucial to attend and support local independent comics and library-organized book festivals!! Fan expos and mainstream Comic Cons really aren’t about comics (or even art) anymore: they’re mostly celebrity autograph meat-markets and major fandom gatherings.

they always show their asses eventually because the thing is that you cannot truly, sincerely care about women if you don’t care about trans women. the minute you carve off any one subcategory of women you claim are “lesser” in some way, you’ve declared women’s rights to be conditional by definition
