Or are you only concerned about what will impact you individually? This is what I meant by making light of. 'Just the amazon.' 'How will this affect USA?' 'What about __?' This isn't an abstract issue that might affect your empire when the world burns. This is happening to human beings **NOW.**

'Just elect someone who can protect the Amazon so we don't all die to climate change' that's all my country is for? as long as the rest of you are saved, that's all that matters? Brazilian human rights, families, minorities, healthcare - are you angry about that too?

I'm Brazilian and this post is specifically about first-world people mocking and making light of a fascist takeover - fueled by their empire - of a third-world country. This is about colonization and political interference, not hurt feelings.

I'm getting really tired of USians acting like our election is over when it's not and also like their government didn't pay for this exact outcome. Brazilians aren't fighting just against our fascists, we are fighting against your colonialism too.
