A 'Pros' section lists two points: band replacements are fast, easy, and backward-compatible with earlier models; and display and battery repairs are tough but well-prioritized, with the sensor assembly independently accessible. A 'Cons' section lists two points: tight seams and reliance on adhesive make all internal repairs quite challenging, and no official repair parts or instructions are available.

The iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max score a provisional 7/10 for repairability. Here's why.

✅ No battery adhesive to fight
✅ Camera modules are easy to remove
❌ Nearly every repair goes through the glued-down screen
❌ The USB-C port is a chore to replace
