I’ve heard from many constituents who are deeply concerned about what this could mean for their ability to afford their medications.

@schakowsky.house.govFor 50 years, the Hyde Amendment has denied low-income women the freedom to access abortion care simply because they can't afford it. The Hyde Amendment is discriminatory, period. No one should be denied the care they need because of their income. Health care is a human right. We must repeal Hyde.
@schakowsky.house.govThousands of immigrants in Illinois who are here legally will lose their Medicaid coverage tomorrow because of Trump. That includes thousands of Ukrainians who fled Putin’s war and came to Illinois seeking safety. The cruelty is the point. We must speak up, stand together, and fight back.
