As we honor the victims and all those impacted by this tragedy, we must continue working toward a lasting peace.

Today, we remember the lives so brutally taken and stand with the families whose loved ones were killed or taken hostage, the survivors who continue to carry unimaginable trauma, and Jewish communities in Israel and around the world who were forever changed by the horrors of that day.

It has been three years since Hamas launched its horrific terrorist attack on October 7, killing 1,200 people and taking 251 innocent people hostage.

Statement from 43 Members of Congress from California regarding Trump’s attacks on Los Angeles and San Diego:

Lorenzo Salgado Araujo was a hard-working man wrongfully killed by ICE agents at a traffic stop. His son Ronaldo Salgado sat down to share memories of his father and make it clear that this cannot continue happening. Oversight Dems will hold ICE accountable.

The projected costs for Trump's vanity projects in DC are soaring. While Americans struggle to get by in this Republican economy, Trump's blatant waste is staggering.

Students and families will have the opportunity to hear directly from admissions representatives, learn more about the service academies and Congressional nomination process, and get their questions answered.

It is only fitting that California has chosen “9 to 5” to celebrate this American icon, officially recognizing September 25 as Dolly Parton Day.

Dolly will remain forever in our hearts, and her music, generosity, and unmistakable spirit will continue to inspire generations to come.

Dolly showed us that kindness can be powerful, generosity can change lives, and each of us can make the world a little brighter.

She was also a true humanitarian who used her success to lift others up, from helping fund lifesaving vaccine research and standing with the LGBTQ community to putting more than 300 million books into the hands of children around the world.

Dolly Parton was a phenomenal musician, actor, songwriter, and performer, but her impact reached far beyond the stage.

May the new year bring peace, joy, good health, and renewed hope. L’Shanah Tovah!

At a time when acts of antisemitism continue to threaten the safety and sense of belonging of our Jewish neighbors, we must stand together against hatred in all its forms.

Wishing a sweet and meaningful Rosh Hashanah to Jewish communities across Ventura County, the Conejo Valley, and around the world.

On this somber anniversary, we recommit ourselves to supporting all those who continue to live with the lasting impact of that day and to ensuring that the lives lost and the sacrifices made are never forgotten.

As we mourn the innocent lives lost and remember the survivors, first responders, servicemembers, and families whose lives were upended by the attacks on September 11, 2001, we recognize the extraordinary courage and selflessness of those who answered the call in our nation’s darkest hours.

Today marks 25 years since the horrific acts of terrorism that forever changed our nation.
