Who said demanding climate action couldn’t be a party? 60,000 in Brussels today! We want renewables to be a priority, not a backup plan. We want polluters to pay and our health to be protected. We want a future where destroying nature is considered a crime.

It’s voting time in the Czech Republic! Good luck to all our Green friends in @zeleni.cz. They want to create a better future for all of the Czech 🗳️ Vote on Friday 9 October and Saturday 10 October

Another year has passed and we are no closer to ending the suffering. We mourn all of the victims of, and since, the Hamas attacks on 7 October 2023. Stop the genocide. Sanctions now. Humanity, justice, and peace for all.

The students have been marching in the streets for the past week, demanding a better education system.

Together with @lesecologistes.fr, we stand with the school students & demand that the police facilitate peaceful protests.

Protect the youth, protest with them. Mobilisation for a better education.

Picture of the student protests taking place all over France. The students' demands are clear:
More teachers, and ensuring
substitutes when they are absent
Less than 35 students
per classroom
School renovation so that they don’t
freeze in winter & melt in summer
Enough chairs & desks
for all students

Congrats to @progresivie.bsky.social on their result in Latvia’s parliamentary elections last weekend! With 7.9% of the vote and 10 seats, this is their best election result ever. Congrats to the entire team for their incredible work and for continuing to put people and planet above profit.

Great communication is the secret behind winning elections! Communication teams from Green parties all over Europe are here for a day of exchange, inspiration and brainstorming creative ways we can showcase the work we are all doing to make our Europe Greener.

Insufficient food, running water, medicines, and no electricity. The people of the Ukrainian city of Oleshky are slowly starving to death under Russian occupation, while aid deliveries and evacuation are being blocked by Russian authorities. This must not be allowed to continue.

The far right has proven time and time again that they are racist and antisemitic. We cannot allow them to continue to spew hatred without consequences. Ahead of the French presidential elections, we need to come together to ensure that they don’t divide us.

Legislations & restrictions exist, but we need the AI companies to actually follow them. AI needs to stay in the hands of humans and not be allowed to develop unguarded, that would put at risk human rights and the future of our planet.

Congratulations to our French senators from @lesecologistes.fr who got reelected including @melanievogel.bsky.social who has been a strong voice for Greens in France and all over Europe.

They will be a much needed voice to counter the rise of the far-right senators.

We will always be louder.

People and planet should always come before profit. But this is not what the current housing market looks like. Our homes are falling apart, empty or too expensive. Together, we can change that. Sign the petition to fix the housing crisis in the EU: right-to-housing.eu

🏡 Ideally, we shouldn't spend more than around 30% of our salary on rent. ❌ We need to put limits on investors so that being able to rent or buy a place remains possible. Thanks to EU legislation, minimum wages are rising but not enough to keep up with the increasing rents.

Women are still paid 12% less than men.
They are also less likely to be in the top jobs.

đź’Ş No pay discrimination based on gender.

👏 This starts with implementing the pay transparency directive that was initiated by @greens-efa.eu back in 2022.

This is now a yearly occurrence & it keeps getting worse every year. Spain just recorded its hottest summer ever. We cannot wait any longer for concrete action to hold off extreme weather events. Our hearts are with everyone affected by these devastating floods.

@europeangreens.euSep 16, 2026, 7:21 AM

Green is the colour of hope.
This is what 40,000 people standing up for climate and an end to fossil fuels look like.
All reasons to get up and demand climate action are valid.

We will never give up, we will continue to fight alongside you.
