I'm not sure what these cabins were used for, but they seem to have been abandoned for a while.

Exploring the nature of ugliness. I post all things ugly, old, run-down, worn out, kitsch and tacky. Finding beauty and charm in unusual places. Located in Reykjavik.
Yeah, they seem to be some type of portable cabins.
You might have to fix it up a bit! 😊

That's great! It's nice to think someone put effort into making this little cabin look cosy 😊
It's strange seeing such a pretty door on an abandoned cabin.

Well, it's been said the gateway to hell is in Iceland, so I wouldn't be surprised. Let's just hope he was leaving!
It's almost like a door.

It kinda is 😊
Could very well be 😊
The carpentry workshop with two door handles also had this awesome wooden dumpster.
That would definitely make it weirder!
Unfortunately, they were closed when I was there, so I couldn't give it a try.
That would be a cool way to show off.
That explains why it's painted such a lovely red colour.

It's pretty common here in Iceland.
I agree. It's a lovely red door.
That would be very cool.
That would be a little embarrassing 😆
I feel obliged to give more info regarding this mysterious door. This is actually the entrance to a carpentry workshop. There's a good chance the door has two handles simply because of good ol' Icelandic humour.
