I actually would love to get my hands on a spare of the same charge controller - I bet there’s a way to edit the firmware on it to make it work better with lithium iron phosphate batteries. Alas, I don’t want to rip this one apart if I don’t have to.

I redid my power tower wiring today after doing a lot of back and forth with the volt meter. I definitely reduced the voltage loss/resistance along the circuit and have both batteries working together. Feels a lot better. Still not happy with the MarsRock 1400, but making progress.

This is so seriously stupid. AI cannot break the laws of mathematics. Encryption relies on the difficulty of factoring extremely large prime numbers. AI isn't going to magically be able to do that any faster. Same with one-way hashes - it isn't mathematically possible.

Really hate seeing the posts lately that think AI is magically going to be able to actually come up with a way to cheat literal number theory. More than anything, it would be able to prove conjectures as theories, but not invalidate theories that already have a very strong consensus.

There are ways a QUANTUM computer could do it, but even then there are ways to do quantum based security that accomplishes the same task. So either way, AI is not going to magically ruin encryption algorithms. It just simply isn’t something that’s going to happen.

Just a note for those who don’t understand encryption. The safety of such comes from the difficulty in factoring large numbers made from multiplying two prime numbers together. AI is not going to magically make this process faster or easier. It’s simply an impossible task.

Little boy is recovering and big kitty is like “your butt smells funny.”

Big kitty is upset/sad because her little brother is at the vet all day getting his nuts removed. She’s been acting overly concerned and snugglely. Wish I could tell her it’s going to be okay and we pick him back up at 3pm. lol She has managed to puke her food up and yowl a bit at me. Poor babies!

True, and that kind of black and white thinking is going to be proven to be a false argument because while yes, it can let those without talent do big things, those with talent will always lead with the best edge. Doing so without AI is an option, but you will be slower for doing it that way.
