Joe Boyd's name is on an awful lot of my favourite albums.

Anyway, Sammy is a very good boy, but at 10 years of age, he is no where near fast enough to keep up with our local rabbits.

We heard the dog as we were walking down the trail so I was yelling 'People on the trail' at the top of my lungs. No one responded, but then we saw the rabbit being chased by the dog and we thought, either the hunter is far, or they've got hearing protection on. We'd best wait it out.

Today's moderate misadventure involved hunkering down in a rocky outcropping on the trail to wait out a hunter. When we finally made contact turns out he wasn't shooting at anything, he was just letting the beagle get some exercise. (We heard shots, but maybe it was someone further afield.)

This show was kind of magical. That pub is really nice, two old friends that I haven't seen in years and years were there, and the organizers gave me flowers! And so much more. I'm going to have to write about it in my blog.

He said it's not exactly about Vampires having fun, but we just watched the trailer and I think that's what it's about. Anyway, it was great, and you should watch it, and if I tried to tell you about a great vampire movie, that was it. Modern Vampires.

I keep trying to tell people about this great Vampire movie but I can never remember the name. I finally remembered to ask the husband. Me: We watched it together a few years ago. It's a movie you liked from before. It's about vampires having fun. He: Are you talking about Modern Vampires?

Two things that I love about humanity are that no matter the time or place, we seem to love a large vegetable, and we seem to love a silly hat.

Thank you for having photos on your book covers. I still read them, but I'm really really turned off by the cartoon covers that seem to be all the rage in romance these days.

This year my husband is watching his daily horror movie (the ones I don't want to watch) in his office in the mornings before work. Since our bedroom is down the hall, each morning I have been woken by a different horrible sound. Today's movie just has irritating repeated music.

So like, has it occurred to the powers that be in Tennessee that maybe God is trying to tell them not to kill people? Aren't they always thinking God is telling them stuff?

Heroes. I really loved it to begin with, and boy, did it go downhill. It completely coloured how I view what came before. I stopped watching Game of Thrones when it caught up to the books, so I missed it's downward spiral, but I hear that did the same thing. And it was so good.

Indeed. Depending on the citizenry to clear the sidewalks in a Canadian winter is ridiculous. I think some places do that, and it doesn't make sense. They don't ask the drivers to plow the streets in front of their houses.
