Our project coordinator Stephanie Hoffmann spoke with @apnews.com about the chaotic response: “There is a lack of coordination and organization, but there’s certainly a lack of actors present here.” More on Ebola latest: apnews.com/article/cong...

We have witnessed how demolitions by Israeli forces have affected 69 families in Hebron in the last six months alone, and these numbers keep rising. Israeli authorities must stop demolitions, forcible transfer, and all measures that force Palestinians from their homes.

MSF has donated mattresses, blankets, and other items to people whose homes were destroyed.

"They didn't even warn us — they just came and demolished everything. One soldier told them: 'Demolish it completely, I don't want to find anything left.' But whatever they do, we will stay here and try by any means to rebuild our home," said a Doctors Without Borders/MSF community health worker.

Israeli forces demolished 12 homes, as well as water tanks and animal shelters earlier this week in Masafer Yatta in the West Bank, Palestine. This was third mass demolition in Masafer Yatta just this month.

While transmission is slowing in parts of Ituri province, Ebola is spreading into new and less-prepared areas, making containment increasingly difficult.

These attacks are part of a continuing pattern: On September 11, our teams at Al Attar treated 11 others injured in airstrikes. On September 13, an Israeli airstrike hit a car next to an MSF bus, injuring one of our staff. Once again, Israeli forces are showing that nowhere is safe in Gaza.

Yesterday, an Israeli strike hit a displacement camp in Khan Younis. Our teams at Al Attar health care clinic treated three people, including two children.

Over the last week, our teams treated 22 people with shrapnel wounds or injuries from explosions. Today, our teams at Al Zawayda field hospital treated eight people wounded in an Israeli airstrike. Three were children.

Once again, Israeli forces have shown a blatant disregard for the safety of humanitarian and medical personnel. Civilians, health care workers, and humanitarian staff must be protected.

We keep struggling, day after day, while knowing that in a fraction of a second, you could be injured or even killed,” said Dr. Awni Al Jaafarawi, MSF physician.

“After a 24-hour shift, while we were heading home or to whatever was left of it, I was looking out the window when, out of the blue, a flash of fire, the smell of gunpowder, screams, and shattered glass came through my window. ...

A Doctors Without Borders bus carrying 10 humanitarian staff was damaged on September 13 when an Israeli airstrike targeted a nearby vehicle in Gaza City. One MSF staff member was injured in the strike. The bus was clearly identified as an MSF vehicle, with a large sticker visible on its roof.

Airstrikes by Israeli forces continue every day in Gaza, killing and wounding Palestinians. Between September 6 and 9, Israeli forces issued 18 so-called evacuation orders and struck a building less than 250 feet from an MSF clinic. Nowhere is safe.

Eleven people with injuries from explosions and shrapnel arrived at the Doctors Without Borders Al Attar health care center in Khan Younis today, after an airstrike by Israeli forces hit near a displacement camp. Two of the wounded were transferred to Nasser Hospital for specialized care.

Across southern Lebanon, Israeli forces are continuing to damage and destroy water infrastructure. Access to water is a basic right that Israel must respect. People must be allowed to return to their homes and rebuild their lives, livelihoods, and dignity.

Almost constant air raid alerts and explosions are also taking a severe psychological toll.  "It's very draining. People are trying to carry on with their work, but this sense of exhaustion is very noticeable, and people are getting more and more tired."—Lesia Martseniuk, mental health supervisor.

"I saw the ground shaking, I saw my own blood flowing."  An MSF patient was wounded during a recent drone attack on a food warehouse. He sustained injuries to both legs and lacerations from shrapnel across his body. MSF is providing him with physiotherapy care and psychological support.
