Today marks the opening of the Kyiv Business Centre, a new base in the Ukrainian capital where British and Ukrainian firms will work side by side on the next generation of capabilities. It's just one of the ways we are backing Ukraine right now, while also backing British jobs
I’m helping get out the vote for Sagal, the Labour candidate in the Holborn and St Pancras by-election. Today is polling day. Sun is shining. It’s a good day to vote Labour 🌹

If you’re going to promise an iron dome you better make sure it’s not an iron colander.
A huge thank you to all our cadets and the brilliant adult volunteers who make it happen. You make Britain's Ocean City proud! 💙⚓️
🫡 Happy National Cadets Week! Plymouth’s Sea, Army, Air, and Emergency Services Cadets represent the very best of our city. They build discipline, gain vital skills, and give back to our local community every day. 🌟
Yesterday I had the chance to visit The Abbey Group in Liverpool alongside Saab to meet the team behind Barracuda camouflage. This cutting-edge multispectral camo, assembled right here in the UK, is seriously impressive and enhances our @britisharmy Ajax vehicles.
Now let's make sure North Corner and Cornwall Beach are places we can all be proud of and enjoy for years to come.
This has been a long-running issue that has frustrated me and local people for years. Following meetings with residents and sustained pressure for action, we finally have a solution. A huge thank you to everyone who helped keep this issue on the agenda and supported the campaign.
Good news for North Corner and Cornwall Beach! The MOD has now confirmed ownership of the site and agreed to remove the derelict boats that have blighted North Corner and Cornwall Beach, as well as repair the damaged steps leading down to the beach.
It’s been good to be back in Norway the past few days meeting my counterpart for discussions on joint military procurements, the £10bn frigate deal and seeing how UK industry is working with Norwegian forces. We have a strong partnership that goes from strength to strength 🇬🇧🇳🇴
I’m in Norway to see how British and Norwegian firms are deepening our industrial co-operation building on the £10bn Type 26 frigate deal. The UK and Norway are the best of friends and our forces work hand in glove together. We are now deepening our industrial co-operation too
Well done to all the colleagues across the Ministry of Defence participating in the Defence Nuclear Enterprise 24-hour row. I popped in to say thank you and gave it a go as well. Top effort from ppl across defence in raising money for the Submariner’s Charity. Thank you 🇬🇧
Thank you to the big @PlymouthLabour team who joined me and Cllr Pauline Murphy for door knocking in Efford and Lipson Ward this morning. It’s really encouraging to hear people talking about hope and coming back to Labour with Andy as PM. 🌹
To everyone serving across our emergency services, and to the families supporting them behind the scenes, thank you for your selfless dedication to keeping Plymouth safe.
#EmergencyServicesDay #999Day #Plymouth #ThankYou999
From our police officers, firefighters, and paramedics to our NHS staff, coastguards, and search and rescue volunteers, Plymouth is incredibly proud of the brave individuals who run towards danger when others are running away.
Here in Plymouth we rely heavily on both our land and water-based emergency responders. Whether patrolling our waters, answering urgent call-outs, or working tireless shifts in our local hospitals, their courage and commitment embody the very best of our city.
Today we mark Emergency Services Day (999 Day),a moment to say thank you to the dedicated men and women who keep us safe every day.
Plymouth will still go to the polls in May and I'll be working flat out to elect Labour councillors. I want to see Plymouth grow and believe we have a sound case for the Greater Plymouth reorganisation. I'm hungry for change, but it's right that it's done properly.
