Also the fact that credit cards enrich the credit card monopoly: Visa and Mastercard. As the CEO of Visa said during an earnings call this year: "Inflation has been positive for us." Because higher prices mean higher swipe fees.

THIS IS NOT OKAY.

In all the hubbub, have we even talked about the "up to 48 hours" of "flex time" for full-time employees? By my count, that's 6 days. I'm assuming it encompasses sick, vacation, and bereavement needs. This is what the jobs we're incentivizing look like in 2026?

A 2028 ticket I would vote for.

This is infuriating…and also totally predictable. The officials complaining today gushed over Amazon a year ago. Now we see it clearly; this company does not care about its workers or their communities.
