Who says cats don't appreciate good architecture??!!
🤣
Rabbithole alert!!! (Too American 😄???) Been reading up on 'ain't'. There are a fair few articles on it. It's considered to be vulgar (no shit) whereas aren't isn't (neither the amn't nor an't that it replaced).
Not sure why you included it earlier.
I grew up in Kent and I used 'ain't' all the time - if that's American then it's a sad day 🤣 Disclaimer I love Americans but I don't want their version of the language
I'm mixed on this - I love the large scale solar farms but I'm not a fan of scarring the landscape. I believe that we're in a transition phase and in the future solar power will be cheaper and more efficient so new roofs, roads, etc could be solar panels. For now we just need more green energy!!!
But I do kinda like elevator and apartment We used to call the radio 'the wireless', I'm glad that died out 😊
Gosh American English makes me squirm 😳😃
Probably the strangest sun/cloud effect I've ever seen
Yes I've been told that this is true as well in Turkey but I've still managed to find a few on trees by the side of the road
Just had a fresh fig. When they're fresh and ripe they are extraordinarily sweet and juicy - eating them gets like having honey or strawberry jam
During a time when the world has broadly coalesced into 2 camps, democracies and dictatorships it wouldn't take much tinder to ignite the worse occasion in human history
One question that I would like to pose is what if this sabotage wasn't Russia? What if some other actor is at work? What if they are trying to cause a WW3?
This WW3 could be bigger and more devastating than even WW3... Naturally some people will benefit from it, either power-wise or money-wise but most participants would lose and probably lose big (it could be the end of the world if this way becomes nuclear).
There's a serious problem regarding this problem with blaming Russia for sabotage across Europe. If the west blames Russia and does something about it this could lead to war. This would probably drag in most of not all developed democracies, China, and other countries.
It's a weird world sometimes, last month I visited an Egyptian company that spoke Turkish at its heart. Now I'm visiting a Turkish company that speaks Arabic at its heart. The twist is that the owners all grew up together on the same town and went to school together
Yes and we should be supporting them much more
Don't you find using Google/Google translate/Ecosia quicker and easier? I have a gargantuan English dictionary that I haven't touched for about 20 years
I'd second that. It's about intelligence, control, trying harder to tie you in, blocking others from getting the intelligence etc. these things are rarely as nice as they seem
@support.wsocial.eu hello. I don't know if I was a founding member but I think I am. How can I get the cap?
