UK based wargamer - Battletech, 40K, Gaslands, X-Wing V1, LI, BFG and loads I’ve forgotten. I drink tea, so you don’t have to.
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialHow many classic games were you able to buy with it though?
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialI think the dice gods were having a good old laugh at us last night.
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialand the consequential fall on the Wolverine didn’t help much either! I’ll finish painting the Heroic Merlin in ELH colours over the next couple of weeks, and I’ll do the old RalPatha one I also have in a ginger cat inspired scheme in honour of my last cat (cat tax attached).
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialWell tonight’s game of #Battletech didn’t go my way in the end, but the heroic Merlin, who spent most the match smashing holes in an Awesome, finally died to a head from a Battlemaster’s PPC. The other ‘mechs didn’t fair to brilliantly either, but a MASC failure…
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialWe need to cut down on our pilots rum ration!
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialNice then 😉
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialYou know, it’s #mechtober and they’re doing Elite House Commands today, but they forgotten about the clans! Well we can’t have that, so here’s a trinity of Clan Ghost Bear’ Alpha Galaxy to correct that oversight (surely accidental).
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialWell what have we got for #Mechtober today then? Elite House commands, well I think the Davion Brigade of Guards fits in here.
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialNice! Or is it evil?
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialYour poor computer! Looks like I have that to look forward too
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialAs long as they don’t try to somersault near à volcano.
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialYeah, I remember going out for an evening walk and playing that and having my first alien encounter. I was on edge all evening…..
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialThere’s got to be a library somewhere; either in a country or in a movie museum. be
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialI need some Christmas and birthday ideas people, go for it!
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialWhere does one purchase giant ‘mech sized googly eyes?
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialWell that’s marrying potential right there.
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialSaving 10 minutes in the bathroom every morning by not shaving. Or not looking like my dad, despite him having a beard…..
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.socialCongrats for both awards!
@stegthedinosaur.bsky.social… and see if I could send that in to Shrapnel magazine (must check that with @catalystgamelabs.bsky.social ). I’m into the game enough that I have a 3ft shelf full of books, nearly all of the #Battletechnology magazines and a couple of regiments of ‘mechs *cough*.
