My guess is that they use ai to make the pics of food ugly on purpose so people will upload pics of the advertisements online and give them publicity anyways. Any publicity is good publicity kinda mindset.

My game theory is that the ai generated recomps, fan translations, and rom hacks are all inside jobs from Nintendo and Sony to discourage gamers from getting games for free and to just buy ports of older games/pay for their subscription services instead
