Robin is right. The ball is now with the liberal, green and social democratslic milieus, parties, media and institutions. It's either supporting a credible vision for social transformation or giving in, once and for all, to fascism.

Postapocalyptic antifascism is oriented not toward restoration but toward salvage: mourning losses without succumbing to paralysis, building infrastructures of care amid conditions of ongoing ruin, and forging strategic alliances without either revolutionary purism or liberal “lesser-evilism.”

Fascism, like ecological catastrophe, is an ongoing and differentially distributed condition: already present for some while remaining latent for others. This perspective shifts antifascist politics from defending democratic normality toward confronting continuities between democracy and fascism.
