Her getting the news <at Nuremberg> is a bit on the nose, and a poke in the eye for the German political establishment and it's craven attitude to Gaza

The typical household gas bill has gone up by 33% since April. Clean renewable energy generation is Scotland's best path to energy security and lower bills.
We're into the final 100 hours of the campaign for Holborn & St Pancras!

Holborn & St Pancras can make history on Thursday by electing @zackpolanski.bsky.social as its first @greenparty.org.uk MP 💚
This is good, important reporting. If the situation were reversed though, I doubt 'Terrorist attack' would be in quotation marks. The Guardian would be perfectly comfortable calling it what it is in the headline.
‘Terrorist attack’ by Israeli settlers on Palestinian family in West Bank condemned
Climate experts are giving stark warnings about the climate emergency. It's time for the Scottish and UK governments to take action to tackle the climate crisis and cut household bills.
A nationwide £2 bus cap must be implemented 'immediately' to help families manage rising fuel prices – the Scottish Greens have said
Had fun door-knocking with the @younggreens.bsky.social in Holborn!
There’s not long left to sign up and help out. Let’s get @zackpolanski.bsky.social elected! linktr.ee/HSP_6thGreenMP
No, BBC, he has not been arrested over the video of dinghy slashing. He’s been arrested over the dinghy slashing. Words matter.
Another company complicit in Israel's illegal occupation of Palestinian land could be about to get a taxpayer funded contract! It's time for the SNP to finally match their words with actions, and fully implement a boycott of Israel.
Andy Burnham is set to support Saudi Arabia's barbaric bombing campaign in Yemen. Yemen has already faced one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world, with famine, cholera outbreaks and the deaths of tens of thousands of innocent people. This is a shameful decision.
I'm still quite stunned by this. It was genuinely one of the most disgraceful speeches I've heard in a decade as an MSP - and from someone I thought much better of.
At the peak of the fossil fuel divestment movement c2019 we were told it was no longer needed because of all the 'net zero' and 'just transition' pledges the oil & gas companies were making. We knew it was bullshit. We've been proven right. Expect amnesia rather than apologies from their defenders.
The @scottishgreens.org will engage constructively & in good faith. We can see where the govt has already quoted from the proposals we made over the summer. That is welcome, but this process needs to result in the genuine transfer of power to communities, not just regionalisation.
And most concerning is the implicit suggestion that sorting out the finances will come afterwards. So, 40yrs on from the Council Tax and 24yrs since the SNP won power promising to scrap it, we could get to the 2031 election with a wildly unfair and broken system still in place.
The suggested powers for the community authorities are extremely limited. They could decide on your application for a conservatory but not applications to actually build homes or commercial premises.
And 120-160 'community authorities' is FAR more than the 53 district councils we had pre-96. That suggests making them so 'local' they won't have meaningful powers. But again, sticking with the same cllrs as present means what? A Milngavie Community Authority of 3 cllrs?
