Now watching #Tenzing
It's infuriating that we're all gonna die because these billionaire weirdos' dads didn't hug them enough.
Now watching #Musk, the four-hour(!) documentary about the creation of a supervillain.
That moment was baffling. *victorious fist pump* On screen text: "Things immediately got worse."
"My Slovenian wife had to tell me how to pronounce a word that hacky comedians use to make fun of people all the time."
Incredible.
How I Met Your Mother, wiping out right at the finish line. I was even okay with most of that mediocre final season. It was the last episode, which undid years of compelling stories because the creators forced an ending the characters had outgrown.
Tonight’s screening is #TheSocialReckoning. Big fan of Aaron Sorkin the writer. Sorkin the director, not so much. Let’s see what happens…
I’ve still got about 125 pages to go in Lonesome Dove, but I also just started listening to East of Eden on audiobook. I’m drowning in epics. 😵💫
I love Anne Hathaway. She’s the best. But two of the movies she headlined earlier this year opened to less than Verity. Despite the quality, Colleen Hoover is a big draw.
This is a great point. Digger is bad, but it takes some big swings. I’d much rather watch a movie that strikes out than one that’s technically fine but who cares?
Welcome to Hollywood in 2026, where Colleen Hoover is a more bankable name than Tom Cruise.
Announcing the merger with Titanic footage is an incredible bit
I hoped that Iñárritu and Cruise collaborating on Digger would elevate their strengths and diminish their individual weaknesses. Instead, the reverse happened: the combination of massive egos created a thuddingly obvious, insufferable film that thinks it's a lot smarter than it is.
I bet this guy’s hard drive would make Jeffrey Epstein call the cops.
This is probably going to be terrible and I will watch it every December.
Oh no! RIP Mr. Belding. 😢
Tonight’s screening is #Digger. Fingers crossed…
“Star Wars Episode X…” 😐 “… directed by Jon Watts…” 😕 “… written by Simon Kinberg.” 💩
