Definitely. As bad as some of the burnouts are now, they were brutal back then in the few instances per year they happened

Seriously, I miss the proper balance of comedy and drama, and the sense of pacing we used to see in so many shows and movies. It feels so hard to find it nowadays Also not having to directly explain things to the audience constantly

It’s like, I’ve seen enough that I know the characters pretty well, so it always makes me forget… I haven’t actually seen much of either show!

Y’know, I always feel like I’ve seen a good portion of ‘90s WB animated shows, but in reality I’ve only seen all of BTAS and a good portion of Freakazoid (and that was in 2009, so it’s been a long time). I’ve seen a pretty small portion of Tiny Toons and even Animaniacs… and that surprises me

Oh yeah, I forgot a major one. That one feels more like a 2025 animation though because I did the layout work last year and animated it in January this year... so it's halfway a 2026 project. (The animation itself was a lot harder than the layout though, so honestly more work went into it in '26)

Man. I really miss having the time/the drive to animate. Feels like I've hardly animated anything all year But although these few projects were pretty short, they definitely had as much effort put into them as usual (maybe even more, actually)
