I said what I said.
Donald Trump has done enormous damage to this country, and no president should ever be above the law.
I look forward to the House impeaching him and seeing him held accountable for all the crimes he has committed.

People are discussing how Halloween candy is so terrible these days. A reminder that alot of the candy we eat is made with women’s prison labor. Russell Stover’s factory in Kansas busses in 150 women a day via a convict leasing program to staff their candy factory.

The people who screamed that children would be emotionally scarred by hearing a drag queen read “Jack and the Beanstalk” are OK with those same children watching Pete Hegseth’s livestream of a man getting his brains blown out by a bunch of guns.
If you are so extraordinarily stupid that you fall for a standard Republican trans panic ruse, I cannot trust you to represent me in office. This is like media literacy 101. Your colleagues are going to run circles around you. Dupe you into anything. I'd be safer running and representing myself.
In the vein of "public libraries could never be created today," a pitch for a calculator would get you thrown out of the boardroom. What do you mean, it just maths? Where are the ads supposed to go? How does it send usage telemetry back if it doesn't even have wifi? There isn't even a leaderboard.
“But we went ahead and took the government contract.” All these contractors need to be put out of business for going along with this stuff.
Stephen "Miller did not want the facilities that were comfortable. He did not want facilities that were humane. We were told point-blank that that was not what the administration wanted."
This is clearly not acceptable
I just got a response from the National Guard, which says troops “are directed not to monitor or secure polling locations” and is “addressing this specific instance.”
The D.C. Board of Elections says it’s asking the National Guard to avoid standing near D.C.’s ballot drop boxes, which opened today, in the wake of video footage showing them near a box in Foggy Bottom this week: www.washingtonsun.com/metro/nation...
I’m writing more! This was a great read. Only v1 of 3 though!
DON’T YOU ROLL YOUR EYES AT ME, hotel outlet!
"Are my migraines hormonal, or am I thinking too hard about how Peter Thiel has more money than all nurses on Earth combined?"

“That’s the problem, Mike. It’s not just that you hired half the Third Reich to staff your congressional office, and you have promoted neo-Nazi content online,” Ossoff said. “It’s that you’re robbing your constituents to subsidize your donors.” talkingpointsmemo.com/fivepoints/s...
But that would be a spoiler!
We are never getting out of the hole that we have dug ourselves without an end to the bipartisan culture of elite impunity that has flourished for decades
Today at Good Comics for Kids, @johannadc.bsky.social reviews the manga adaptation of Agatha Christie's And Then There Were None from @viz.com: goodcomicsforkids.slj.com/2026/10/09/a...
I think that one of the most important messages that candidates like Ossoff communicate when they openly condemn neo-Nazis and white supremacists is “I’m confident that I can win without the support of people who think I’m out of line here.”
