@dr-nicky.bsky.socialWe're starting to suspect she might not be the hero of the story.
@dr-nicky.bsky.socialAgent Sojac: No. Feels like she should do something, but never sure what.
Angelica: No. Views it as a sign of weakness; will be mean about it.
Smiley: Yes, but may come up with hare-brained schemes for cheering them up.
Bianca: Yes, she likes it.
@dr-nicky.bsky.socialLOL!
@dr-nicky.bsky.socialMy controversial opinion of the day is that no one should use the expression "LOL" unless the thing to which they're responding actually did make them laugh out loud, and no one should use the expression "LMAO" unless it's accompanied by photographic proof that their ass really has fallen off.

@dr-nicky.bsky.socialBizarre that the content of Goblins over the years hasn't already chased away everyone who's pro-evil and/or can't take a joke!
@dr-nicky.bsky.social@andrewmreichart.bsky.social and I co-authored a chapter on the transformative power of tabletop roleplaying games for this book!

@azziamw.bsky.socialReposted by @dr-nicky.bsky.socialThank you to Jon di Luca for this wonderful interview. Anyone in the Bay Area, aikido classes are free in October for new adult students. You can get to know Nick Sensei here.
@dr-nicky.bsky.socialThe zodiac never seemed like a relevant framework for Weird Luck (a comic set in a city where the chaotic firmament makes astrology impossible), but I do think of Weird Luck characters in terms of Enneagram types!
@dr-nicky.bsky.socialBianca is the most scarred character in the Weird Luck webcomic.
We've seen the wrist/forearm scars & missing fingers; there are more scars under her clothes. She's quite unhappy about all of it.
How'd it happen? Find out in Volume 4!

@dr-nicky.bsky.socialYes, this is Weird Luck, the webcomic I write!

@jeremycshipp.bsky.socialReposted by @dr-nicky.bsky.socialHey Bluesky, could you help spread the word? My goal for the day is one new sale at my shop.
Each Jeremy Creature is designed and hand-sewed by me and takes many hours to create.
@dr-nicky.bsky.socialI wouldn't #cosplay any of my Weird Luck characters because they all look so different from me that I couldn't pull it off. But I'd love to see other people's Weird Luck cosplay!
Only comic characters I could cosplay at all well are Spider Jerusalem and Lex Luthor.
@dr-nicky.bsky.socialWhen an ancient artifact surfaces in the criminal underworld, Agent Sojac races to find it before those seeking to harness its power unleash horror upon the city. But a deranged killer stalks her, and even her therapist may be hiding dark secrets...
@dr-nicky.bsky.socialMight vary depending on her mood and what she's been doing.
