Cowboys again. This time one of our boys has lost his boots. Standing in a field of long grass the cowboy points towards the ground and shouts back to his colleague, “Lil bone people got muh boots.” This makes no sense to the other cowboy who sits atop his horse away from the action. He responds, “Lil wut?” Sure enough in the foreground we see a squad of little bone people scampering through the grass with the stolen cowboy boots. They’re thrilled. How the bone people got the boots off the cowboy is unclear.

Artist’s note: I tend to draw drawings from the same perspective (straight on) most of the time. This idea came about when I was goofin around trying to draw a character from a lower angle. I like that the story unfolds with the foreground, mid-ground, and background all working together. There’s a draft of this one included in the Spooky Pants book. Coming out next week!

Weird thing about long covid, its made alchohol less enjoyable. The pick-me-up effect gets cancelled out by my fatigue, so all I ever feel is a constant comedown, which hits twice as hard.

Oof, its been a rough month... Dox and I caught covid at megaplex, we got through it, came down with a cold RIGHT after, and we have been nothing but exhausted since then. I think we are dealing with long covid, yall Im so so so burnt out and tired. This sucks big time.
