The best eps were 1 (dinosaurs), 2 (Griffin Incident horror film), and 8 (Joe Morton's badmiral vendetta + Uhura kicking pirate ass). I love a shenanigan but an entire season of shenanigans? Less so. However, I still enjoy how angry the muppets made humorless Trek bros 😂 Thoughts?

Kirk is ALWAYS ON THE SHIP; I know why (Year 1 launch) but his presence takes away from the crew dynamic. Last week, La'an was told that if she puts on a pretty pink dress & is more sensitive maybe she will be happier (ugh). They leaned too heavily on Chapel's s3 romances so now she seems adrift.1

I am not sure the writers have any idea what they are doing with Pike. Homie has been a disaster for the better part of 2+ seasons (in s3 I actually started to hate him). Spock hops from lady to lady; M'Benga is wasted potential. I like Scotty & Pelia but we rarely see them. Una has nothing to do.

So now that the entire season of Strange New Worlds is out, what is your verdict? Mine: this season was a hot mess. A couple good eps, or at least good subplots, (anything Ortegas or Uhura = 🔥🔥) mixed with utter insanity. Costumes always on point; coherent character development rarely on point.

One year ago today...we launched the IMAP mission!!! 🚀 I am still in awe of this team, this perfect launch, and what we can do when we work together 🫶🏻💫☀️ I really enjoyed teaching NASA fans, kids, & space folks about the heliosphere, how IMAP studies solar wind, and just sharing cool science.
