@scoutedftbl.comReposted by @tomoc.bsky.socialThanks so much for the amazing response to Cata's debut! For those who aren't aware - we've not done a great job introducing ourselves on Bluesky - SCOUTED is an indie and reader-funded magazine on the players, people and ideas changing football's future.
@tomoc.bsky.socialhearing Santi say ‘Arsenal forever’ this shit needed a trigger warning
@goonerak.bsky.socialReposted by @tomoc.bsky.socialCan't believe I forgot the most important Arsenal birthday yesterday: The Arsenal FC. 140 years ago yesterday the members of the Dial Square Cricket Club discussed and agreed to form a football team.

@catabush.comReposted by @tomoc.bsky.socialThe story of Cavan Sullivan is a story about American soccer idols, and by extension, a story about American soccer itself, both the good and the bad. 20 years after Freddy Adu, American soccer has its prodigy.
For @scoutedftbl.com, the tales we weave about Cavan and all that came before (🎁 link):
@tomoc.bsky.socialheya, not really anything new to say that I didn't cover in the following: "we all like that world, don’t we? As long as it looks pretty and the things it sells are good, even if there’s a little niggle at the back of our brains that wonders at the things we’ve lost to get there." Thx for reading!
@tomoc.bsky.socialjeans in protest. I will not be cowed
@tomoc.bsky.socialMagnificent from @catabush.com. This feels like the definitive story for non-Americans to understand how seismic Cavan is; a must-read
@tomoc.bsky.socialgenuinely furious about this
