The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail shows just how transformative public transit can be. But for too long, riders have had to put up with delayed trains, overcrowded platforms, and long-promised expansions that have yet to become reality. Our communities deserve better.

New Jersey is better because of her service and leadership. She leaves behind an extraordinary legacy and will be deeply missed. My prayers are with her family and loved ones. 🙏🤍

Deeply saddened by the passing of former State Senator Sandra Cunningham — a true daughter of New Jersey, a trailblazer, and someone who dedicated her life to public service.

No one should be forced to choose between their safety and who they are. This cruel and inhumane deportation scheme must end immediately.

U.S. judges recognized the grave danger they faced in their home countries. Yet this Administration is sending them to foreign nations where they face the same threats of imprisonment, violence, and persecution.

Dozens of LGBTQ+ asylum seekers who fled violent persecution are being deported by this Administration to countries where being gay is a crime.

Martin was on his way to buy diapers for his children when he was apprehended by ICE. Since that day, his wife Gaby has fought tirelessly to bring him home. And we’ve stood by her every step of the way. Tonight, Martin is finally coming home to his wife and children — right where he belongs.

The time to stop the helicopter insanity is now. We will keep working to find solutions at all levels of government until our communities get the peace and safety they deserve. 🚁🔨
