I'm trying out this new format of sharing a mix of old/new short book reviews. What do you think? 💙📚 An Unlikely Visitor by Joanna Cannon (June 4th) If you have previously read Joanna Cannon's work you will know that you are about to embark on quite an emotive journey - so hankies at the ready!

An Unlikely Visitor by Joanna CannonWith a very compassionate and sensitive hand, Joanna Cannon takes the reader on a powerfully emotional journey. An Unlikely Visitor is a book that will resonate personally with many as we have all experienced grief at some point in our lives and as we age, this becomes even more relevant. With a very affecting storyline, and the most poignant and heart-stirring prose, Joanna Cannon beautifully explores the power of love, grief, regret and the bonds of marriage. An absolutely stunning novel!
