@chrisarrant.bsky.socialWho or what has excited you recently in comics? RT and pass it on.
@chrisarrant.bsky.socialThanks for saying this out loud.
@amychu.bsky.socialReposted by @chrisarrant.bsky.socialLooking into organizing a short story anthology that pair some of my former students with experienced comics pros (both artists & writers) If you have some published work behind your belt and open to working with new talent, let me know. No time frame or more details yet, sorry, but of course paid!

Kickstarter open now.

@chrisarrant.bsky.socialJosh's wife Martha confirmed the sad news of his death on his Instagram, and I encourage you to go there and tell them stories of how his work affected you, any interactions you had with him, or just sharing your favorite work of his.

@chrisarrant.bsky.socialHis art was muscular without becoming stiff, detailed without losing momentum, and violent without ever forgetting the people caught inside that violence. He took the long way to make it to comics, but once he arrived, he drew like he had been waiting his entire life for it. (2/3)
@chrisarrant.bsky.socialJosh Cassara is leaving behind a family and a career that feels both remarkably accomplished and cruelly unfinished. (1/3)
@chrisarrant.bsky.socialHave you read Beast of Boriken? That's been my newest thing. I buy anything Daniel Irizarri does.
@schweizercomics.bsky.socialReposted by @chrisarrant.bsky.socialHobbit Day (the shared birthday of the intergenerational Baggins boys) was yesterday, but I didn't post any hobbits! So here are some of the ones drawn up as part of the absurdly big LOTR set I've been doing this year, plus honorary hobbit Gandalf.
