Ooh thanks!
I do love a ritual! I think that was part of the appeal of Nano before it sucked and died
This is an interesting thought, because I remember doing this in college, getting a bunch of handwritten words in during my breaks. I need to figure out how to adapt this to my current life as a grocery delivery driver ππ€
#LitHodgepodge my fellow AuDHD and/or chronic fatigued writers: do you have any hot tips for me about sitting down and making myself DO the darn thing?? It's amazing how something can be your purpose in life and also the very last thing you want to do
ME: Do people ever call you Nicole Boy? NICOLE KIDMAN: No. No, youβre the first.
Ch 5: Bolton "Before I could give in to my cowardice, indulge my selfish desire to plant myself next to Leecie until bullets riddled both our bodies and our blood soaked the earth, I turned and ran." End of Part One! Who clapped
Ch 4: Bolton "After a week spent awaiting my imminent, lingering death, the simple miracle of inhaling and exhaling would forever leave me amazed."
Ch 3: Bolton "Kindness with conditions was pretty lousy kindness, but complaining about it wasnβt exactly productive."
It's so intimidating! I feel like I know just enough to be useless with it π like if I knew less, I could blindly follow a tutorial and be fine, and if I knew more, I wouldn't need a guide, but I'm somehow stuck in the weeds of an intermediate knowledge of How Stuff Works
The urge to use "yoink" in a serious scene because it most efficiently describes the action that's happening....
Oof, I hate the post-event crash. I hope the thc kicks in and gives you some relief!
Sounds like you accomplished a lot of stuff that needed doing! I got a few paragraphs line edited, and I'll do some more before bed, but I mostly napped
Do any of y'all know how to make footnotes in an epub and can explain like I'm 5 and also scared of calibre? Or could point me toward a guide?
She would probably agree π«£ I have to keep getting Bolton to hit her over the head with the "he's being evil for fun, you're trying to survive" stick
How does it feel to be smiled upon by the writing gods
Normally I like the for you feed since it helps me catch stuff I missed from my mutuals by not being online all day, but boy howdy is it mad about quibbly stuff tonight π«
My allergies are always worse when it rains! I think I'm gonna get a nice break from the heat but then boom. Sneezing fit
Leecie is the same way, but she struggles with it a lot more. She's worried about how she's being changed because of the circumstances she's being subjected to. She's gonna have to learn that morality and "the rules" really don't always match up (*faint sounds of Anthony crowing in the distance*)
I thought this might be a more complicated answer for Bolton, and then he gave me two examples in like 4 paragraphs that it isn't, actually π He might have qualms about what he has to do, but he'll do just about anything for his loved ones
Me: heheheh perhaps I escape my responsibilities for a little while π
