It’s funny you say this because I have had several conversations at work (at a board game publisher) where we talk about how our work tables are huge and we need to watch it because games are like aquarium fish that grow to the size of the tank. 😂

I am from San Antonio, so I will be having a warm Christmas with the family as usual. lol

It's October, we've had some crisp mornings, I made an absolutely killer beef and vegetable soup tonight--only for the weather to betray me! We had a high of 81 today, I didn't come to MN for this.

In other words, a meet poot. 😇

9 years ago, I made a life-changing decision...

We're big fans of local Saint Paul band Alligator Orchestra. After hearing songs they wrote about Root, we commissioned them to record a Kart theme song. They came back with "Don't Look Down!", two minutes of raucous pop-punk that's perfect for Kart's reckless downhill races.

Good because this was the encouragement I needed to make one for this week! :)

Update: I finished the whole book in a day and it was awesome. Painful, sad, sometimes embarrassing, sometimes funny, all really great storytelling.

Warm light in the coffee shop, gray weather outside. Perfect reading day.

I will never get over the traffic cone wizard hat. 🥰
