So, my current cosmic horror WIP has six POVs, and there's a point where one of them changes. It's the same person, but the mind has been swapped.

I actually wrote the chapter the other night, so next time he shows up, the name on the chapter will be different. 👀

Absolutely. Was basically insinuating that they did sacrifices before this harvest, but didn't tell anyone. So, when the people find out, they'll sacrifice a ton more to ensure the next one is even better. Probably could have worded it better, haha. 😅

I think for me it's the final act that is finally ripening.

I've been chipping away at the draft lately, and the other day I got hit with a vivid scene from the final chapter. It's all finally coming together. Just took ten years. 😅

Love this answer. It reminds me of a story I read over on Substack a while back where someone used roses growing from a dead body, and I still think that's some incredibly haunting imagery.

Saw someone mention Kamelot earlier, so I'd do a horror story inspired by their track "The Haunting (Somewhere in time)"

The concept would be an anthology about two souls who are reincarnated over and over again, only for their love to end in tragedy each time they meet.
