@janarrah.bsky.socialThis is.. insane. Making guidelines to not be mean to Skynet..
@janarrah.bsky.socialwow.. this is... a level of dumb
@janarrah.bsky.socialYup... Launched in 2003. It also has a massive universe with multiple spin offs.. and it's superhero fair.. and Kirkman had already had massive success in TV with Walking Dead. Execs prob will not see Saga, Chew, or I Hate Fairyland the same.. Which have a shot.. if they were Manga to anime
@janarrah.bsky.socialYou're seeing... one person with a company that has spent decades building his properties... That's great... but that doesn't apply to EVERYONE at even Image.. let alone Oni or Dark Horse or IDW or Vault..
@janarrah.bsky.socialThe assumption here is that they're watching quality anime and not one of the 100 fanservice shonen/seinen harem or isekai anime that exist. Like.. I LOVE anime, but for every great anime there are tons of GoLions, Kami-Chama Karins, and Ai Tenchi Muyos..
@janarrah.bsky.socialthe Manga to anime pipeline is.. vastly different than the comics to show pipeline, on so many levels. And more and more anime are based off light novels over Manga. As for the Image/Marvel/DC/Jump.. umm.. they all have overlap. they aren't that vastly different.
@janarrah.bsky.socialOMG.. tell me I don't need.. but I want. It's so gorgeous
@janarrah.bsky.socialGail.. that's just the plot of an average episode of Super Sentai or Kamen Rider..
@janarrah.bsky.socialsaved search for the Herbie volume 3. eBay 100% nailed that didn't they. 🤣🤣🤣
@janarrah.bsky.socialI love that eBay, like everything else, made its search vastly worse and unusable..

@janarrah.bsky.socialI just wish Marvel didn't pretend he never existed. Even in Marvel's collab with Magic, Monkey Joe is forgotten.. Tippy Toe got a special secret lair as well as a regular release!
@janarrah.bsky.socialhe has 3... it's his sister you have to worry about tho...
@janarrah.bsky.socialthe frustrating thing is how many people I have seen that are supposedly liberal that will blame trans people for this..
@erininthemorning.comReposted by @janarrah.bsky.socialSC Dem Senate nominee Annie Andrews released an ad calling trans women "biological men." She embraces sports and surgery bans for youth. Her campaign even says she won't work to overturn the HRT/blocker trans youth ban. She once argued against capitulation. Subscribe to support our journalism.
