@hibbysloth.artPlus, DK's design is to bridge the 80s and 90s designs together. There's not much of a reason to change Funky. The only designs that really changed for Bananza were DK, Diddy, Dixie, and K. Rool. Candy also was reverted back to her 64 design. I guess there's not really a pattern.
@hibbysloth.artI do wonder if they'll follow that design for Swanky since, well, Chunky also was redesigned in the movie and was kept mostly the same in Bananza outside of his nostrils.
@hibbysloth.artI think it helps make Funky more distinct. I like it. Curious if they'll redesign Swanky in the future, if he ever comes back ofc.
