Just a little look ahead to what next year has in store for PubHammer. There’s also plans for November but we’re not ready to reveal them yet!

Kinda has to be 2 Gorka 2 Morka

@andyjennings314.bsky.social
Long-time 'pushing Ogres around Warhammer tables' veteran. Even longer-time green stuff addict. I do other things, but you're probably not following me for them.

We've been really ambitious this year. Hoping this should be a lot of fun
Well, let's go with my usual destination at a tournament...
@troggmeta.bsky.social SUMMON THE BIG JERICHO

I have a mate who views every AoS/TOW release the lens of "could I use this to recreate every encounter in the original 1995 Warhammer Quest book".
This month on #GuessThatManeater, I've finally splashed out on the big boy. Who isn't carting around soup, but the stuff mercenaries are actually after.
For anyone actually playing along, he has since had a turban and a curly moustache sculpted on...
@brynston.bsky.social isn't just _a_ gargants player! 😮
The needs of another half dozen Gluttons means that the Stormcast Maneater holding a standard has had a transition.
Still needs painting and actual reassembly, but I'm happy how easily he's accepted his new role in life!
So they don't do Coolest Army at War In The Mortal Realms, so it's funny to have beaten out some beautifully painted armies to win Best Painted instead 🤣
This does mean #DaBadNekBanditz have done their job, so I need to get some Ogres prepped for October...
Game 3 went about as well as I normally do into Troggs. Ran out of time, but it wasn't going to get better from there.
Still didn't spoon today tho, which is frankly a miracle...
I've taken a sabbatical while I reconfigure the Maneater Legion for the new tome, but Crimson Keep really don't work, and apparently Maulbeasts and huge wodges of Gluttons very much do...
What's a good pairing after a crushing Round 1 loss? What about the _literal best AoS player in the country_? Sounds fair to me!
It was close for a while, but @philipspringall.bsky.social is as consummate a player as he is a kitbasher.
Future Me is delighted that new Ogres are running so hot - might just nick Percy's list and run it myself.
Current Me is fucked off at how many of my Crimson Keep tricks got blocked by the Maulbeasts...
I mean... obviously no modern GW kit is going to be as customisable as I want, but the new Ogres weren't bad. And the pointless hard divide between Gutbusters and BCR is very much in the bin. As are... Maneaters. RIP!
I'm pleased to be broadly wrong on my prediction for Sons - whether or not the army plays any better or not with the new tome, doubling the number of kits in the faction isn't a bad thing!
It's apparently my bi-annual review of my Start Of Edition predictions! And... the persistent rumours that AoS 5e is going to have another crack at an End Times might have had some petrol in the fire...
Dwarfs were my faction of choice before the Ogres, way back 20 years ago. And now we have New Dwarfs coming, and I am... whelmed. They're perfectly fine Dwarfs, but apparently I've gotten used to AoS's higher-fantasy vibe, and they're very... Dwarf.
