I redesigned Malagash the moose to make him easier to draw, but version 2.0 just isn't working. The original design is coming back (below)! The wife has grown tired of me whining about my moosie conundrum.. her words were: "Tough titties, Smitty... he's the moose that belongs." 🦌 #art #illustration

My first time drawing a rook. It was really interesting to work on the various parts of the scenery in ink as well as to capture the idea of scale and distance.

The original is up for sale on Ebay!

Practicing my horses while following the excellent artist, Sarah Dean, once again! This time I also drew a caracal cat following Joe Weatherly, as it fit the style of sketching that I was working on.

A foggy piece for the art show! Inspired by my love of fantasy and the moody sea!

The original is up for sale on Ebay! Link in the comments.

It’s #InktoberDay9! What do you do when you wanna go trick-or-treating, but just don’t have the energy? Simple! You dish up some lasagna and hit the streets as beloved comics legend Troublingly Overweight Feline! Sorry, still gotta keep it Legally Safe for #Halloween! #Inktober

Riccardo's #mouse sister returns with a new design. I renamed her Maria Topo.

Happy Foggy Thursday! You definitely wouldn't see this view today! ☁️☁️ I finished this one yesterday. Inspired by my own blurry photo taken just up the road from my house. I hope you are having a great week! 😊💖 #ferrypainting #washingtonstateferries #seattle #ferryboat

Happy Tuesday! Here's the next bird on my British birds list. A Eurasian Blue Tit. I really miss these little cuties! I hope you have a great week! 💙💛 #eurasionbluetit #bluetit #britishbirds #myownartchallenge

Happy Wednesday! A late addition to my Bainbridge Island birds collection! We had a Great-Horned Owl in a tree by our house. He woke us up and then I saw a flash of a wing as he flew away. Very cool! 🦉💖 #greathornedowl #owlart #bainbridgeislandbirds #backyardbirds

It’s #FanArtFriday! It’s the penultimate entry for this year’s edition, and this week’s CRAZY #FanArt honoree is my good pal, @seanfhall.bsky.social! Gob was feeling a bit peckish and ate the first morsel he saw: Captain Agnes! How will she escape her blobby captor? Find out in 2027!

It’s #FanArtFriday! And the final CRAZY #FanArt honoree for 2026 is my pal @ajschumacherart.bsky.social! Alex was kind enough to include Mike & Mindy’s puffed posteriors in his Sunday Funnies collection, so it only seemed fair that young Ben Fineman got the CRAZY honors to end things right!
