It’s a real asset for Bungay and the surrounding villages, giving local people the quality care close to home that they deserve.
Delighted to celebrate the extension and refurbishment of Bungay Medical Practice NHS Norfolk and Suffolk ICB, Bungay Medical Practice, and East Suffolk Council have worked tirelessly, transforming the practice into a modern, accessible, and sustainable place for patients, staff and the community.
I was honoured to be invited by Stradbroke and Harleston to attend both of their screenings, and to join them for a discussion on the film and my work in Parliament fighting for these issues.
The People’s Emergency Briefing is a powerful reminder of the urgency of the nature emergency, biodiversity loss and climate change. Over the last few months, communities up and down the country have put on screenings.
Projects like this keep residents connected, which is so important for wellbeing and mental health. Thank you to everyone who volunteers their time to make it happen, and to all the members who made me so welcome.
These spaces were traditionally called Men's Sheds, but Fressingfield uses a different name. I met women and men of different ages who really value what it brings to the community.
Great to visit Fressingfield Shed to see the great work they do bringing people together. It’s a place to learn new skills, have a chat and share experience. It is a brilliant example of our fantastic community initiatives here in Waveney Valley.
Three years on, we all remember the horrific events of October 7 and the wave of destruction in Gaza that has followed it. I reiterate my call for an end to the violence, for peace and safety for both Israelis and Palestinians.
I will also stand in solidarity with Jewish communities in the UK who have faced repeated attacks and need the support of all politicians against any forms of discrimination and harassment.
In Parliament I will continue to stand up for the people of Gaza and against the war crimes and illegal occupation.
I am deeply saddened the ‘Zionism is Racism’ motion has passed. It doesn't reflect Green principles or my own view. The Green Party has long supported the principle of self-determination, and I stand by our 2024 manifesto commitment of equal rights of Israelis and Palestinians.
My statement on motion E02, Zionism is Racism
The breakdown of our ecosystems is a national security threat. We must put restoring nature at the heart of government decision-making. So I'm delighted that @TheGreenParty members backed my conference motion on the need for a Nature, Biodiversity and Security Act.
Looking forward to talking with members about my work on animal protection in Parliament. If you're in Brighton on Sunday, please do come along.
There are serious questions to be answered here. Did the Reform Council Leader tell the truth when he said he had not met Dennis Bacon before the job interview?
Cllr David Bick must give a full account and be transparent about how Dennis Bacon was appointed.

Come to one of the remaining stops. Details are on your local Facebook page or available from my office.
Great to be in Bungay and nearby villages for the latest stops on my constituency tour. Thank you to everyone who came along to talk about heating oil costs, school and public transport, and river pollution.
It was great to be in Laxfield earlier this month. Thank you to the parish council and residents for showing me round the village, and the wonderful museum. Like so much of Waveney Valley, it's clear just how strong and active the community is in Laxfield.
For people in rural communities like Bungay & Halesworth, public transport isn't a luxury. It's how many people get to work, college & appointments. It makes no sense that the Reform-led council has allowed cuts to the X41. Cllr Peter Aiano & I have asked to meet council leaders to challenge the cut
