@meganhuang.bsky.socialand an AI image of Gal Gadot, who is not looked upon fondly for good reason right now. I declined to be a part of it. This was what I determined to be a passion project for the creator, with only the secondary intention of spotlighting women in comics...

I get the intention but I'm not sure how I feel about that, a male run site of all the women ever in comics... There was AI used everywhere (as placeholders-- but a stick man could be a placeholder too?)

@meganhuang.bsky.socialSo, I took this photo on my way to nycc. The (carriage pulling) horses were being groomed. I tried to speak to the guy. A friendly "hello!" And he immediately snapped up and repeated over AND over "NO PHOTOS, NO PHOTOS, NO PHOTOS!" I couldn't get a word in edgewise. 1/2
@meganhuang.bsky.socialMan, I miss Vero a sniffer dog of NYCC. He leaned right into me for pets. And when I asked if he wanted to go home with me he looked up and gave the biggest smile. My heart!😭❤️ I looked for him every day after that and I couldn't find him. (Don't tell my dogs I betrayed them)
