Been going back and rewriting so much of the first multiplayer code I ever did last year, and while I've been super frustrated going "What was 2025 me even thinking?" it also makes me happy to see how much I've improved as a coder in just a year. I've also gotten WAY better at designing menus.

I am SO exhausted and relieved right now so I'm just going to repost this from the discord! Thank you everyone, It's been a wild ride to get to where I am right now, but I'm glad I got here.

WE HAVE REACHED OUR GOAL!!!! I cant thank everyone enough for all the support, it means more than you can imagine. I cant wait to show you all of the things I have in store for Flipside, and all the ideas I have for what comes after Brave Beginnings. I'll be streaming tomorrow to celebrate and counting down the last hours of the campaign, and after I will be taking roughly a week off from coding to focus on all the real life errands that have piled up on me while I focused on the kickstarter. After that, I will be focused basically entirely on gamedev (still streaming occasionally) for the next 6 months until Brave Beginnings is released. I will be giving regular updates both in this server and on the Kickstarter page throughout, and making promotional posts when new characters are ready to show off. Backers who pledged to the Early Access tier can expect their codes for the multiplayer Steam playtest in October after I get the multiplayer code cleaned up and matchmaking/lobby finding systems created. Thank you all again for the incredible support, and I'll talk to you tomorrow.
