fair enough. Time will tell.
Nope - Farage copies and worships Trump and Trump finds it in his personal interest to promote him. A subtle different but an important one: Brainless Farage has latched onto another brainless dickhead and copies everything he does. Can't even tweak the policy for the UK.
Sounds to me like a Frankie Boyle voiceover unfortunately rather than a journalist.
Do they have to wear a duvet over their head too? I think there are some trolling opportunities from journalists here. Perhaps some "pink panther" Macintoshes, trilby hats and dark glasses would be appropriate.
Sorry if I didn't say claim, I certainly meant that. And yes, I know that the Dublin Framework has strict criteria and processes for implementation rather than implying "you could just return everyone arbitrarily" which is keeping the numbers down.
Fair enough. Your opinion and I respect it. I don't agree but hey ho. My opinion is less based on the "cost to the economy" pundits and much more on integrated security commitments which means in my view you cannot wait 20 years. Or even a year.
We could try...
Err, how do you guarantee this "WILL NOT" opinion? Right now, you and I both know that Brexit/ Rejoin WILL BE a major factor in GE's ad infinitum until something is done.
So to finish this up, As you consider my approaches irrational or un-workable, perhaps you could enlighten me as to your solution to rejoin the EU. Hopefully one that doesn't take 10 years to implement.
What is untrue? There was and is an EU process to return people to their initial point of claiming asylum. Whether it is fair on southern EU nations is certainly a point worth considering. Myself, I am all in favour of people wanting to come here and work and contribute to the economy.
While we are talking - is your second sentence what you meant to write? If you did mean "not" then surely you would have used "Should not" rather than "Will not" over which there is no control. Because currently, every general election WILL be about Brexit if nothing is done.
For the Reform voters, they will be able to resurrect the ability to return illegal immigrants to original point of entry into the EU, like before, and we can recreate the solid path to legal immigration that this country requires. NOT doing anything doesn't "make it go away" either. Not any more
No, of course there will be objections. Make sure the deal is solid - I don't know, say 50 years without break clause so that no new Government can overturn it. At least there will be benefits to point to and the way the world is going right now, solid defence structure with EU is essential.
Sorry if I was unclear, or I misunderstood your reply: I am advocating NOT waiting for a GE on rejoining the EU. It should be done now, and without another referendum either.
Of course they were. Neither Trump nor Hegseth would know dick about throttling bandwidth or creating gaps in the chain pass-off.
Forgetting Epstein, he clearly knows nothing about commerce either. Or Hassett thinking it is great that people are putting everything on credit cards etc. The incompetence for every cabinet position is staggering and they are just there to conduct every meeting with a Trump adoration session.
I got off it before the elections too - in fact the moment I heard Muskrat was buying it. I don't miss it either, other than when it would be nice to tell certain accounts (Public figures and e.g. WH accounts) that they are stupid fuckers.
Probably delayed but the last I heard it was supposed to be operational "by 2027" but I see that is now being touted as 2029. Perhaps if we all subscribe to Eutelsat, SES, Hispasat then they might get their fingers out...
Indeed so. I hoped with Starmer but I was wrong. Then I hoped with Burnham, but so far I am still wrong. Just yet another reason we need to go right back into the EU fold immediately and form strong defence and other partnerships.
Not to mention the tariff trade wars, the bill that gave Billionaires tax cuts and kicked people off medical and other benefits...
