Me too!! It was so inventive!
20 years ago people would have known these people were crazy and moved on. Now they’re given a platform.

You know, life hasn’t felt too easy lately. The Cornell case brought back bad grad school memories. Jury duty triggered worse memories. I’ve hated what I’ve written over the last week or so. But this dumb sign has made me so happy. Find happiness wherever you can, friends!
Am honored to get a Best of the Net nomination from DMQ for my prose poem "Shoes". www.dmqreview.com/woodruffsp26
Congrats to all nominees and best of luck and thank you to the editors for selecting Shoes!
It’s actually called Foreign Fruit—I confused the names of the titles and double checked. 😭 But definitely check it out!
I love food histories! Lenore Newman’s Lost Feast about extinct foods is sooooo good. I’m reading Katie Oh’s Bitter Orange right now, an exploration of what it means for something to be a native fruit.
