September 30 is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation. Today, the Newfoundland and Labrador Teachers' Association Provincial Executive, on behalf of the membership, honour the children who survived the residential school system and remember those who never returned home. 🧡 Every child matters.

Today, we remember September 11, 2001, and the lives forever changed by that day. Over the past 25 years, educators have helped young people understand this difficult moment in history, teaching the importance of compassion, peace and understanding. We remember. @dlambe4nleduc.bsky.social

Welcome back to school, everyone! A new school year’s a fresh start – so let’s start the year off right. A safe, thriving school community depends on all of us. When we all commit to doing our part, our schools become a safe space for everyone! @dlambe4nleduc.bsky.social

Happy Labour Day! Today we recognize everyone who makes our workplaces, communities and province stronger. To our educators across Newfoundland and Labrador…thank you for what you do, every day. @dlambe4nleduc.bsky.social
