Congrats again to the Harvard economists & co. who told us that Scott Bessent was a "credible Treasury Secretary" bc he went to the right schools & cocktail parties & bc it is a Big Club. It might be nice for Furman & company to speak up now & correct the record. The silence really is deafening.

It's an implicit recognition that there are no job prospects that will produce a sufficient or stable income. UBI has little raison d'être when jobs with sufficient salary and benefits are available. In a world of sufficient, well-paid jobs, it is superfluous.
