I have a confession to make… I never actually played the Crimson Flower Route of Fire Emblem: Three Houses. I always meant to, but I saved it for last, took a break from FE3H, and never got back to it. So yeah, I’m a fake Fire Emblem fan.

Pretty cool. The hat flaps being a place for the bunny ears is a cool design choice. I don’t know anything about undead plush rabbits but I wish him the best.

“September 8th, 2022 Dear Diary, “

I like the idea of entering a Xiaolin Showdown with a five-dollar bill as your Shen Gong Wu. Face of Lincoln, protects you from bankruptcy!

I’m pretty sure to get the rights, you need to wager the rights of a property of equal value. Then the scenery shifts into a crazy floating arena and you compete in an inane minigame.

You really never stop having those “forgot to study for the big exam” dreams, huh?

I beat Act 3 literally yesterday! And yeah, I think Sherma is central to this game’s themes of faith. Ultimately his sense of faith is a good thing, but it needs to be tempered with action and awareness of the world around him. In the end he does more for the pilgrims than his god ever did.

Yeah, HP really meant a lot to me, and now I have so much trivia about its world that is absolutely useless to me. But I can’t engage with the series anymore, it’s just too depressing now.

We get a lot more of Oliver’s band mates in this volume, which is a fun new highlight. Besides Sky they aren’t the deepest characters, but they’re fun in how they act as excitable foils to Oliver.

Also there were more “third character interrupts important moment” scenes here, and I started to think, “Oh, I see how this story can be stretched out for another hundred episodes now.” I can embrace the slow burn though.

At the same time, this was the first time I started to get kinda mad at Sara for her indecision, especially because she’s now holding up other potential ships for Joe and Patrick that were clearly supposed to like more. Guess that’s the intended effect though.

Sara has a crush on every boy! We get two major “events” here where the love triangle between Sara, Joe, and Patrick is put in full blast. We get Lulu’s spooky birthday party, and Oliver’s concert. So this was a particularly eventful volume I guess. Feels like things are really moving now.

68. The Kiss Bet: Volume 4 Oh no! This is the last physical book we have so far!!! Luckily we’re not caught up yet. There’s like two more seasons up on Webtoon, so I guess I’ll post the next pieces in Season chunks. Same thoughts as before, series is very sweet and wholesome.

Yay! So brave!

Yeah. There’s also LIVE ACTION Disney movies that look lame as fuck.

This reminded me of George’s experimental pointillism and how really it’s just millions of dots that your mind puts together into a picture. But George remarks that in a way that’s what all paintings are.

I can’t remember if we’ve ever talked about Sunday in the Park with George before. Have you seen it? I know you like some other Sondheim stuff. This post reminded me of some of the musings that show has about art critics.
