There is a lot to celebrate during National Manufacturing Week — CA is the first state to surpass $4.5T in economic output. And new data from the U.S. Bureau of Economic Analysis show that CA ranks 🥇 in economic output in manufacturing. These achievements reflect the hard work of all Californians.

Three years ago today, the October 7 attack took more than 1,200 lives and shattered countless more. I'm holding the victims, survivors, and their families in my heart as they continue to grieve.

Happy Mexican Independence Day, CA! 🇲🇽 It is the 214th anniversary of the historic El Grito de Dolores, which was the cry for independence that began on the evening of 9/15 in Dolores, Mexico. With more than 12M+ residents of Mexican descent in CA, we are happy to celebrate this day alongside them.

Last night, there were two heartbreaking tragedies in Chatsworth — a LA Metro bus crash & a NBC4 news helicopter crash. My thoughts & prayers are with the families & loved ones of the victims, & the entire NBC4 community. Thank you to the first responders who were on the ground working tirelessly.

As a state that is proud to be home to over 15 million Latinos, this month is also significant because Latin American countries such as Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, Mexico, and Chile celebrate their independence anniversaries.
