Oil companies say climate lawsuits could bankrupt their industry. They’re asking the Supreme Court to block them.

If paying for the damage they cause threatens their business model, the answer is to change it—not bankrupt nature to protect their profits. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/04/c...

It's in your hands now, California. Polls close at 8pm — and if you're voting for me, you're voting for this. Get out there.

I’m running for governor because I know that a better California is possible. A California where corporate interests don't buy off politicians and rip you off. I know what it looks like. And I know we can win it together.

I know this race has felt complicated. But it’s actually now become very simple. Corporations have spent over $55 million, up until the very last day, to oppose me because they don't like my policies. I am running to lower your costs at the expense of their profits.

We can deliver a more affordable California that works for woking people — but only if you vote by 8pm. Let's win this thing.

Corporations have spent over $55 million to stop me. That’s the most outside spending in a primary in the history of this state. Because I'm running on a not-so-radical idea: California should work for working people.

I know a lot of people have reservations about voting for a billionaire. I see the ways so many billionaires lie, cheat, and steal to get whatever they can out of the system — and then do everything they can to hoard their wealth and avoid paying taxes. Screw that.

I'm the luckiest man in California to have Kat by my side.

For too long, we’ve had a system where corporations buy off politicians to protect their profit. I’m running because I believe Californians deserve better than that. They deserve a governor who won’t sell them out to the highest bidder.

I know this race has felt complicated. But it’s actually now become very simple. It comes down to this: Do you want a California for corporations, or a California for Californians? I would be honored to have your vote.

“If I was there, I would be voting for Tom Steyer, because he has proven that he cares about the issues that matter to lift all people,” Bishop Barber said in a video.

Californians in walkable, diverse, livable neighborhoods with strong public transit options — that's our future.

@tomsteyerhq.bsky.socialJun 2, 2026, 7:04 PM

They want to keep this race about me because my policies are about you. They’re coming for me because they know they can’t attack our policies — they’re the most progressive, and the most popular, and they’re possible. This is our one chance for a progressive state, California. Let’s do this.

No better day to ride the D (train) than election day.

Good public transit is key for an affordable, walkable city. That's why I'm riding the D on election day. @metrolosangeles.bsky.social

The time has come to vote for the California you want. The question is: do you want a California that works for corporations, or for Californians? The California we want is possible. We just have to vote for it. Polls close at 8pm.

I’m running for governor because I believe in a not-so-radical idea: California should work for working people. If you agree with me, I’d be honored to have your vote today.

@tomsteyerhq.bsky.socialJun 2, 2026, 2:41 AM

Let’s bring it home. Vote tomorrow for a California you can afford.

On the ballot: A California you can afford vs. a California for corporations.

California, now is the time to see through the misinformation and the bullshit. Now is the time to elect a governor with progressive politics. Don’t let them fool you, California. We can have the California we want. We just have to vote for it.
