So I can lose 10 lbs and I’m sitting there like …. No u don’t … that’s not what it’s for

I think the most insensitive thing actually thinking about it was like … I’m on a glp-1 because I’m a diabetic and it’s really helped my blood sugars ( but it makes me feel really sick sometimes … if I didn’t have to take it I wouldn’t ) but someone was like .. oh!!! Your on ____? I wanna be on it

Oh!! I meant like normal as in the food not the behavior .. it’s not normal at all. It’s awful… and I didn’t realize how common it was as a conversational thing… ( I work in education so I work with a lot of moms/ grandmas ) sometimes I wanna say …shhh … especially when it’s around the kids

This is what I wish would happen at lunch when I’m work …. I’m so afraid to eat with the nutrition facts showing in my coworkers directions bc as a group they will start listing off carbs and calories or even ingredients and talk about how bad they are. it makes me feel awful ( even if it’s normal )
