MLP was in Hasbro's 2026 Licensing Source Book.

The live-action movie by Amazon MGM Studios is still in development. Forever Friendship is also still set to release in early 2027. It is a "feelings-first fantasy series" with music called "Neigh-Pop".

Character deep dives for the rest of mane 5! From the leaked ANG movie bible

#mlp #mlpg5

HITCH TRAILBLAZER: Deeper Dive

ADVOCATE

CAREGIVER

Sunny's foalhood friend who's always done things "by the book"

Sheriff of Maritime Bay who emphasizes following the rules and fitting in as the key to happy living

Over-achiever who tries to "fit the mold" when it comes to his role – can be prone to clichés

Quick to point out any and all violations of the law

Hates litter

Animals are drawn to him and ready to be his fuzzy and feathered lieutenants - they recognize and respect his authority when others don't. He initially sees them as more of a nuisance, but will come around to embracing them by end of movie

Loves games (because, RULES!)

Also loves music – he can't resist shaking his flanks to a sick beat

Flaw: can be too "by the book." Accepts the earth ponies' intolerance towards other species

Possible Accessories

An array of fake moustaches

Other "undercover" disguises

Stereotypical policeman glasses

Hitch of the month calendar

Any/all creatures – his deputies are specifically 2 seagulls and a crab

Cop accessories – hoof cuffs, badge, ticket-writing pad, whistle

SUNNY STARSCOUT: Deeper Dive

EXPLORER

VISIONARY

Determined, curious, idealistic, adventurous Earth Pony

More Daring Do or Indiana Jones than Twilight Sparkle

Raised on stories of the Mane 6 - believes the 3 species were meant to live in Harmony

Loves star gazing, exploring, finding artifacts from G4, collecting, puzzle-solving, riddles, finding clues, leading daring missions

Also a talented chef, baker, and small business owner

Less aware of social cues because she's so focused on her goals

Flaw: gets carried away on journey to restore magic, overlooks the importance of friendship. Focused on destination and not journey

Possible Accessories

Rollerblades/helmet

Food truck & delivery cart

Smoothies, muffins, fruit, kitchen accessories

Unicorn & Pegasi heart stickers

Hand carved, wooden dolls of the Mane 6

Lantern/carousel made by her father

Journal with Twilight's cutie mark on cover

Buttons on bag strap with M6 cutie marks

Maps/books/head lamp/adventure gear

PRINCESS PIPP PETALS: Deeper Dive

PERFORMER

TASTEMAKER

Advocate/Influencer

Sings some lines, talks in sing-song

More theatrical personality

Generosity – bleeding heart

Raising awareness for totally silly causes

Focused on using her platform for good

Not overly precious – OK with getting dirty

Uses wings as a dramatic prop... like an old hollywood starlet with a boa

Always has a microphone/cellphone within hoof's reach (take further – pulls stuff out of nowhere like Pinkie Pie? Accessories, makeup, rim light for streaming content, a million different tiaras, etc.)

Cloudpuff loves her and follows her everywhere

Loves the pomp/ceremony that comes with being a royal – but not snooty or stuck up at all.

Possible Accessories

Cloudpuff

Cellphone – livestreams everything for all her followers

Microphone

Tons of Tiaras

Anything royal or "Princess-y"

Musical instruments

Dance accessories

Outfits/embellishments – OK to take liberties – she LOVES an opportunity to dress up and accessorize!

Pipsqueaks fan club merch (tees, buttons, etc.)

Perfume (of course she has her own... this princess smells, and so can you!)

Trumpets/fanfare/red carpet rolled out in front of her

IZZY MOONBOW: Deeper Dive

CREATIVE

SPIRITUAL

SUPER CREATIVE - Crafty, but ALSO... Inventive/ingenious

Inventor element – STEM

Tinker – can make something awesome out of just about ANYTHING

Unicycling (upcycling, but for unicorns!)

Smart & dreamy

Finds wonder in everything – can come across as naïve, but she's smart as a whip

Other unicorns lost their sparkle when they lost their magic, but Izzy figured out new ways to do things without magic

Lonely – misfit like Sunny – her "sparkle is too sparkly" for the other unicorns in Bridlewood

Can use horn as a curling iron

Makes her own jewelry

Makes elaborate disguises to dress her friends up as unicorns

"Medium sneaky"

Pulls things out of her hair, like Pinkie Pie

Can read other ponies luminescence, or sparkle

Possible Accessories

Anything arts & crafts – painting, sewing, collage, macramé, wood working, jewelry making, pottery, etc.

Rube Goldberg-type machines to do simple tasks

Tea set

Homemade crystal jewelry for hair and ankle

Song fantasy props (rapper hat & glasses)

Can of beans

Crystals

Mystical Bridlewood creature companion

Non-binary Zipp!

Leaked image from the ANG movie bible, confirming that Zipp is indeed non-binary.

#mlp #mlpg5 #mylittlepony

ZIPP STORM: Deeper Dive

ROYAL REBEL

Gender neutral/non-binary character – while we will likely not explicitly discuss gender identity, she will lean into traits, trends and fashion commonly associated with gender queer members of Gen Z and older

Daredevil, but also science... Curious genius

Science savvy – talks about velocity/speed, angle. Super impressed by Izzy's creations (machines, devices, etc.)

Studying aerodynamics and principles of flight

Would skip out on her royal duties to equivalent of a skate park, or drag racing

A bit of a Hipster... Doesn't have social media, doesn't buy into all the hype and focus on appearances

Wouldn't be caught dead in most of what her sister likes to wear – refuses to wear a tiara, doesn't want to play dress-up, resists the flashy unicorn disguise Izzy makes her... NOT interested in any sort of "glow up."

10 Things I Hate About You

Is she the oldest of the 5 ponies?

Impatient, rulebreaker

Maximum sneaky! Knows all the secret passages in the castle, organizes jewel heist & jail break

Parkour – amazing tumbling, athletic prowess, fast, can mimic flight

Athletic, but not into traditional sports – the more daring and the faster the better

Natural leader, albeit a reluctant one

Could she also have a musical ability? Drums? Something cool?

Possible Accessories

No jewelry or girly outfits – think accessories and gadgets vs. fashion

Disguise – cool zorro-like mask? v

PRE-FLIGHT: aything with wheels – scooter, skateboard, hoverboard, Jetpack, Glider, kiteboard, parachute, etc – things to mimic flight

No jewelry/crown/etc. Accessories should not be overly "girly."

Video games?

Helmet, "crash" gear, skate ramp, obstacle course items

Futuristic looking visor/sunglasses/goggles – should look like they're high tech and built for speed

Spy gear

The cast of ponies correlates with the latest toy release for San Diego Comic-Con where Rarity and Applejack are missing. The song also has a Hasbro Music content ID. We may not know any additional info until SDCC in a few days.
